FAQ – Frequently asked questions about your stay at the Ferienhotel Bergland

Our restaurant is open for you from 18:30. As we are a small family business, we ask you to be seated at the table reserved for you by 7:30 p.m. at the latest. We ask you not to take any food or drinks out of the restaurant. We are happy to welcome you in appropriate attire for our 4-course menu of your choice.

We ask you to vacate the room by 10:00 a.m. at the latest on the day of departure.

Arrival is possible in the morning from 10:00 – 12:00. We ask for your understanding that room occupancy in the morning cannot be guaranteed. In the afternoon, arrival is possible from 15:30-20:00. Should you arrive after 18:00, please let us know by telephone.

The nearest pharmacy is located in Arzl (a few minutes by car). The opening hours are MO-FR 8:00-12:00, reachable under the following telephone number: 0043 5412 61258. The hospital Zams can be reached under the following telephone number: 0043 5442 600. For information about the doctor on duty, we will be happy to give you information at the reception.

A wellness bag with bath and sauna towels is available in the room. Fresh towels can be collected from reception on the cleaning-free day.

Bathrobes are available free of charge for the duration of your stay and can be borrowed from reception. For the sake of the environment, we do not use disposable bathing shoes. We ask you to bring them from home.

Yes, our cozy hotel bar with adjoining terrace is open daily until 23:00 for you.

Drinks consumed are charged directly to the room bill. A receipt can be found in the room key box at reception the next day for checking purposes. The room bill can be paid in cash or by card (EC, Mastercard, Visa) on the day of departure.

Yes, there is a charging station for electric vehicles available for a fee. The required charging card is available to borrow at reception. Price/kwh according to current tariff.

The nearest hairdressing salon is in Arzl im Pitztal. Please book in advance. Opening hours: Tuesday to Friday from 08:30 to 18:00 and Saturday from 08:00 to 13:00.

Our breakfast times are from 7:30 to 9:30 am. We would like to politely point out that taking food with you is not included in the room price. For a small surcharge, you can take home-made snacks with you. Our service staff will be happy to provide further information.

The “Wald Feuerwehr” stop for the free ski and hiking bus can be reached on foot in 2 minutes.

Included in the ¾ board is our cake buffet with homemade cakes at our hotel bar in the afternoon between 16:00 – 17:30.

The local tax is a fixed service and amounts to € 4,- per person and day for each adult aged 16 and over. Children up to the age of 15 are exempt from the local tax.

We are a non-smoking hotel and therefore smoking is strictly prohibited in the restaurant area as well as in the rooms. Smoking is only permitted in the designated smoking area. Thank you for your understanding!

Our reception is not manned at all times. However, you can reach us by telephone at any time on extension 9.

Yes, every room is equipped with a safe. Operating instructions are available in the room.

Yes, we are a Pitztal Sommercard partner business. The Sommercard is valid from June-October (exact date according to the respective summer season)

Yes, we have a ski room with ski boot heating.

For the best price, we recommend purchasing your ski pass in advance online on the homepage of the respective mountain railroad.

Our rooms are cleaned daily between 8:00 and 12:00, with the exception of one cleaning-free day. If you do not wish your room to be cleaned, please hang the sign with the corresponding inscription on the door. If something is not working or missing in the room, we will be happy to help at reception.

Our cancellation conditions apply in accordance with Austrian hotel regulations. Cancellations must be made in writing. In order to avoid unnecessary costs and inconvenience in the event of cancellation, we recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.

With our menu selection you can choose between two main courses. Menu 2 always includes the vegetarian option. Vegan food is possible, but must be requested.

Special catering for allergies and intolerances is possible, but must be requested.

Yes, we have an outdoor swimming pool, which is solar-heated and is available to our guests from May to September.

There are plenty of free parking spaces available directly in front of the hotel.

Our ¾ board includes breakfast buffet, cake buffet with homemade cakes in the afternoon and an excellent 4-course menu of your choice in the evening.

If you wish to be woken at a certain time, please let reception know.

Our wellness area with Finnish sauna, Swiss stone pine sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin and relaxation room is open daily from 16:00 – 18:30. During vacation periods, we alternate daily between adult and family saunas. People aged 16 and over are welcome in the adult sauna. We ask for considerate behavior in the entire wellness area.

Yes, WLAN is available free of charge throughout the hotel. You will receive the password on arrival at the hotel.

As something unforeseen can always happen, we recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance when you book your homepage online or via Europäische Reiseversicherung.
